Anyone in the world

Sebagai mahasiswa informatika, banyak dari kita yang mengalami ketidakpercayaan diri terhadap skill yang akan/telah kita pelajari di dalam perkuliahan. Salah satu mahasiswa yang tidak percaya diri adalah diri saya sendiri. Sejujurnya saya takut setelah saya lulus, saya sulit mendapatkan pekerjaan karena skill informatics yang minim dicari. Namun, pada webinar kali ini ditampilkan bahwa skill informatics semakin dibutuhkan didunia ini. Webinar ini juga memberikan wawasan tentang skill-skill yang harus kita kembangkan untuk menjadi lebih baik. Kita harus bisa mengatasi sebuah masalah dan membuat keputusan, hal ini dapat diraih dengan beberapa langkah yaitu menganalogis masalah dengan masalah yang mirip, melakukan brainstorming, membagi dan mengatur, mencoba hipotesis, berpikir lateral, membuktikan ketidakmungkinan, dan menganalisis akar penyebab.

Selain hal tersebut, kita juga harus dapat berpikir secara kritis dan kreatif. Berpikir secara kritis berarti individu mampu mengalisis suatu masalah berdasarkan fakta sehingga menemukan keputusan akhir yang efektif. Sedangkan berpikir secara kreatif berarti individu mampu melihat masalah dengan pandangan yang berbeda atau jalan yang berbeda sehingga individu dapat membuat hasil yang berbeda. Dalam proses mengembangkan skill=skill kita, kita juga harus mampu sadar akan diri kita sendiri dan memiliki empati. Ketika kita memahami diri kita sendiri kita akan mampu melihat kekurangan dan kelebihan kita sehingga kita tahu apa yang harus kita perbuat kedepannya. Manusia tanpa empati cenderung kehilangan arah maka dari itu kita juga memerlukan empati karena empati akan membuat kita dapat menghargai barang/ilmu/makhluk hidup.


Kesan : Webinar ini sangat bermanfaat bagi saya karena setelah mengikuti webinar saya semakin tahu skill apa saja yang harus saya kembangkan untuk dapat menjadi lebih baik.

Pesan : Sebaiknya dalam menampilkan video lebih diperhatikan karena suara yang terdengar sering terputus-putus ketika webinar berlangsung.

1. Analogy : Menyesuaikan solusi dengan masalah sebelumnya yang memiliki fitur atau mekanisme serupa

2. Brainstroming : (terutama diantara kelompok orang) menyarankan sejumlah besar  solusi atau ide dan menggabungkan dan mengembangkannya hingga solusi optimal ditemukan.

3. Divide and Conqure : Memecahkan masalah besar dan kompleks menjadi masalah yang lebih kecil dan dapat dipecahkan

  • Analogy:  Mengadaptasi sebuah solusi dari permasalahan sebelumnya yang mempunyai fitur atau mekanisme yang mirip.
  • Brainstorming: Mensugesti, khususnya pada sejumlah orang, banyak solusi atau ide dan menyatukan dan mengembangkannya sampai menjadi solusi yang optimal.
  • Divide and conquer:  Memecahkan masalah yang besar dan kompleks menjadi masalah yang lebih kecil yang bisa diselesaikan.
  • Hypothesis testing: Mengasumsikan penjelasan yang mungkin terhadap suatu permasalahan dan mencoba untuk membuktikan asumsi tersebut.
  • Lateral thinking: Menghadapi solusi secara tidak langsung dan kreatif

Menurut narasumber, terdapat beberapa skil yang harus dikuasai di tahun 2020 yaitu

Critical Life Skill : 

Merupakan sebuah skill yang diperlukan dalam kehidupan kita di zaman sekarang.



1. Problem Solving and Decision Making  

Mengapa Problem solving dan decision making merupakan skill yang penting di masa depan ?

karena dua hal di atas tidak sekedar memecahkan masalah ataupun membuat suatu keputusan, problem solving secara tidak langsung merupakan pola pikir yang positif dan juga dapat menjadi suatu pemecah masalah. Secara tidak langsung problem solving dan decision making tidak hanya digunakan dalam permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan kerja, ataupun kuliah tetapi, dapat mengontrol kehidupan kita agar lebih baik.

Sebelum melanjutkan ke materi berikutnya, di bawah ini terdapat beberapa bagian atau isi yang ada di dalam problem solving itu sendiri. Berikut penjelasannya : 

  1. Analogy : Adaptasi solusi dari permasalahn sebelum yang dimana memiliki fitur atau mekanisme yang mirip
  2. Brainstorming : Menyediakan solusi ataupun ide dengan jumlah yang banyak lalu menyatukan serta mengembangkannya sampai solusi yang optimal ditemukan
  3. Divide and Conquer : Memecah masalah yang rumit menjadi mengecil, sehingga dapat menjadi masalah yang dapat diselesaikan
  4. Hypothesis testing : Mengasumsikan penjelasan yang mungkin terhadap masalah dan berusaha membuktikan asumsi tersebut
  5. Lateral Thinking : Mendekati solusi secara tidak langsung dan kreatif  
  6. Proof of impossibility : Berusaha membuktikan jika masalah tidak dapat diselesaikan. Poin dimana pembuktian gagal akan menjadi poin awal untul menyelesaikannya
  7. Root cause analysis: Mengidentifikasi penyebab terjadinya masalah

2. Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking  

Berpikir secara kreatif dan kritis juga merupakan skill yang penting di masa sekarang, dengan adanya creative thinking kita bisa menemukan suatu cara yang kreatif dan baru, sedangkan dengan critical thinking kita bisa memahami sesuatu secara logika dan metuskan mana yang paling tepat, keduanya juga bisa saling berkesinambungan. Contoh dari Creative thinking : merancang sebuah desain, menemukan alat baru untuk penyakit kanker, cara memotong pengeluaran listrik yang berlebihan. Contoh dari Crtitical thinking : Mengambil keputusan secara matang, mengamati masalah dan responsif.

Dibawah ini merupakan pengertian secara general :

a) Creative Thinking -> Sebuah kemampuan untuk melihat sesuatu secara berbeda, dan menemukan cara baru untuk menyelesaikan masalah, berpikir diluar dari kotak/kebiasaan.

b) Critical Thinking -> Sebuah kemampuan untuk menganalisa fakta, bukti, observasi dan argumen untuk menilai sesuatu.

3. Communication dan Interpersonal Skills 

Skill lainnya yang perlu di kuasai yaitu skill komunikasi dan keterampilan sosial, mengapa ? Karena tanpa adanya komunikasi yang baik dan interaksi yang baik juga, maka permasalahan bersama yang perlu diselesaikan tidak bisa diselesaikan dengan baik,  dan bisa terjadi kesalah pahaman, oleh karena itu berinteraksi dan berkomunikasi merupakan hal yang penting, dan tentunya agar kita bisa melakukannya secara lancar, kita perlu melatih skill ini.

Berikut pengertiannya secara general :

a) Communication skills -> Sebuah kemampuan untuk memberi, menerima dan memproses informasi. Itu semua merupakan sifat-sifat yang akan membuat kita untuk membuat permintaan, meminbuat pertanyaan, mengerti perintah, dan memberi petunjuk dan informasi terkait dengan jelas dan ringkas

b) Interpersonal Skills -> Sebuah kemampuan untuk menangani konflik, bekerja sama, empati, mendengarkan, dan bersikap positif. Menjadi fleksibel dan positif, bisa menjadi pendengar, dan berkomunikasi dengan baik meliputi komunikasi secara verbal dan nonverbal.

4. Self Awareness and Empathy 

Skill terakhir yang perlu dikuasai yaitu kesadaran diri dan empati, dengan kesadaran diri kita bisa memahami diri kita lebih baik, bagaimana karakter kita, sifat emosi atau perasaan yang ada dan juga cara kita beradaptasi dengan lingkungan, hal tersebut dapat membantu kita untuk mengembangkan diri. Lalu, Empati adalah suatu kemampuan kita atau seseorang untuk mengerti bagaimana perasaan yang lain. Dengan adanya empati kita bisa membangun interaksi sosial yang baik, melatih kecerdasaan emosional kita sendiri, dan melatih tolong menolong antar sesama.

Berikut pengertian secara general :

a) Self-awareness -> Kemampuan untuk fokus terhadap diri sendiri dan bagaimana aksi, pikiran, dan emosi lakukan atau tidak selaras dengan standar diri.

b) Empathy -> Kemampuan untuk mengerti bagaimana perasaan orang lain, dan sangat penting untuk kecerdasan emosional.

Kesimpulan, dalam kehidupan ini ternyata kita memerlukan skill yang tidak hanya sekedar bisa untuk berkomunikasi saja ataupun cukup memiliki skill pemecah masalah yang baik. Kita memerlukan semua skill di atas, selain dapat berguna dalam kehidupan sosial, skill tersebut juga sangat membantu dalam kehidupan sehari - hari. Kita perlu melatih diri kita, agar bisa memiliki 4 skill di atas.
